Low Res: Underground Disco with Rahaan

About this event

Low Res is an all night party right in the heart of San Francisco, 2 rooms with freaked out disco & house music all night into the early morning on a 4-point Klipsch sound system. Come lose your mind with us. This time we welcome Chicago legend Rahaan to the basement, making his long awaited return to San Francisco. Carrying forward the torch after growing up watching Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles and Lil’ Louis, Rahaan has earned a worldwide reputation for fearless, high-energy sets that move through raw disco, soul, funk, boogie and house. His selections run deep, his edits have become staples in record bags everywhere, and behind the decks he has a way of turning records you’ve never heard into records you need to know. Low Res #2 switches things up with a new cast of local stalwart selectors across both floors. Vin Sol brings his deep knowledge of house, disco, Italo and electro. Big Happy digs into soulful and unexpected disco, boogie, funk and house. Life Size Caleb comes armed with deep dance-floor cuts, while Luis G and Lilia bring their own corners of the Bay Area underground. Infinite Jess goes B2B with Three6Sashia, bringing together two adventurous diggers for a trip through soul, jazz, disco, house, international sounds and whatever strange records find their way into the bag. Two floors. All vinyl. All Night. See you underground. *** Location details to be emailed day of party $20+ | 21+ Organized by Maximum Intervention
